# I need help with my elephant ear. it has been thriving for months and…

I need help with my elephant ear. it has been thriving for months and all of a sudden popped up with this. one has already fully turned yellow and fallen off. i haven't moved it recently, haven't repotted it. any ideas what's wrong?

If it’s just suddenly decided to be fussy, I’ll assume watering and lighting is ok.

Check for pests. These are spider mite magnets! Check under the leaves very closely. Honestly, when I think I might have pests, I give the plant a bath.

Next, check the roots. It may need more room it it’s been growing a lot.

Have you fertilized?

it was definitely needing to be repotted thanks so much! i repotted it 2-3 months ago im so surprised how big it's gotten
