# Are these tomato plants capable of reviving? I’m pretty sure each…

Are these tomato plants capable of reviving? I’m pretty sure each plant needs its own pot, but I’m also nervous about repotting. When I watered them, most of my 6 pots didn’t absorb much or any water…just went straight down the drainage holes. Any advice and help would be so so greatly appreciated. I am clearly a beginner learning more every day.

I think they are. I would bottom water them by putting the pots in a bowl with water and let it soak up as much as it will. Sounds like the soil has gone hydrophobic and that is a good way to fix that problem!

Tomatoes are pretty resilient. You can also replant them deep and cut many of the bottom leaves and they should recover under the right conditions.
