# My birds nest fern is getting crispy edges. No new growth. Dying…

My birds nest fern is getting crispy edges. No new growth. Dying leaves. It's about time to repot- but is it even worth repotting at this point? It's kept slightly moist, filtered water, with a humidifier nearby that I turn on every so often.

For anyone who's curious, I took it out of the pot and it had pretty bad root rot. RIP 🥲
