# So I have a majesty palm and I think I’ve had it for about a month…

So I have a majesty palm and I think I’ve had it for about a month and I bought it with a new leaf that hadn’t opened up and it still hasn’t opened and I was just wondering why am I not giving enough humidity or what??

it could be because it’s still settling in its new home. you could try to coax it open by moistening it with a wet paper towel or something to see if it was just stuck

Ok good I had seen a few videos of plants like just needing a little help so i definitely will try that today I also looked it up and they said I could be a lack of nutrients from like showering my plant and it’s easily washed away so hopefully it’s just a little stuck

It could need more sunlight also. They love bright light but not directly as it may burn the leaves.

Yea I have it in the sunniest place I can get it but it’s quite big so it’s hard to determine how much light it’s really getting
