What’s wrong with my Strawberries!?!?

Can someone help, not sure why these look so bad.

I am new to gardening!

Is your crown covered, that looks like rot

What is a crown??  
Also the area it is in gets full sun all day long.

The crown is where the shoots come up from, it’s a thick stem like in the middle at the bottom. You don’t burry the crown but make sure it looks good
