# Hey I got my mother the same type of roses that I have and we used…

Hey I got my mother the same type of roses that I have and we used the same potting mix but hers look like this and we both repotted them the same day. I added fertilizer to my mix though and I’m not sure if she might have. Mine is also in terracotta and hers is in a plastic pot, but both have drainage holes. She’s watered the plant twice since repotting it on Sunday because she thought it might’ve been a lack of water. Hers get a lot more sun than mine, so could it literally just be burnt leaves? I also technically bought it at a different location but same chain, so it may just be the care it received prior to being in our possession? I don’t know I guess I’m just looking to see if anyone knows what we should to to help this plant out 🤷🏻‍♀️

My neighbor has roses and they get first morning sun. 3/6 hours depending on our day.
It could be the sun is too hot. Or it’s getting too much sun at the moment. This happened on my pothos when I left it outside too long.

Thank you! I’ll go ahead and pass on the tip to my mother. She has a ton of roses but those are all planted in the ground, which is why we had initially thought it might’ve been the soil since the rest of her plants aren’t crispy like this.

Coul be the soil. It may also not be getting enough water to the heat outside. My mum faints if I don’t water it everyday. Especially when sunny.
