# Hi everyone! Relatively new to houseplants here so apologies if this…

Hi everyone! Relatively new to houseplants here so apologies if this has been asked to death but I have these tiny yellow-ish bugs crawling about on the underside of my Monstera - and I've definitely noticed some spots of browning on the leaves also. I tried Google lens-ing but that didn't help. I've just wiped them off for now but this is the 3rd time I've noticed them coming back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :) thank youu

Hi Arcanist,
I would suggest using neem oil on your plant! I use it whenever I have pests and they usually go away asap.

Also maybe cinnamon!

Tripssss. They are very difficult to get rid of, the eggs live inside the leaf tissue and the adults fly. Neem oil has never worked for me ever once. I’d suggest an insecticidal soap as a natural remedy, but consider keeping a pesticide handy if it gets out of control.

Definitely use neem oil and spray all over including the soil and use a homemade natural soap mixture and after you spray it, wipe the leaves and stems front and back and make sure to not use this cloth on other plants.

Thrips. Systemic granules were the only thing that helped me get rid of them completely
