# I have four elephant ear bulbs that are sprouting. This is the second…

I have four elephant ear bulbs that are sprouting. This is the second one that has had these speckles on it. I don’t know if it’s dirt. As the leaf is curling more of the stuff is starting to show. I took a Q-tip and wiped it off with some neem oil and water. When it smeared it’s red. Does anyone know what this could be or is it just dirt?

Edit: there is no webbing and they don’t seem to move/crawl

Looks like spider mites to me. Keep treating with neem.
