# Today I repotted my American rubber plant and noticed a lot of light…

Today I repotted my American rubber plant and noticed a lot of light brown, almost clay-like dirt all along the bottom. The soil started off dark brown-black, like the soil next to it here. Should I be worried? It looks fairly healthy otherwise.  
(It also has a healthy fungus that’s been living on it for a while. Maybe that’s the issue?)
