Has anyone transitioned their bonsai to hydroponic? I have only found 1 article online. Any tips or tricks? Certain species that do best? (Photo from online article)

I can’t imagine this being a good idea. Bonsais need a lot of oxygen in the soil for strong root growth and development. You won’t get that in water unless you’re changing constantly.
