# My boyfriend got me this bonsai for my birthday, no clue what it is.…

My boyfriend got me this bonsai for my birthday, no clue what it is. I’ve never had one before so I just watered it lightly with a spray bottle once a week, woke up yesterday morning and it looked like this. Any ideas on what it is or how I can save it?

I have a couple and one of mine ate very picky so I would drench it like once a week and then fertilize it as well but other than that it don’t know what to do

I’m no pro but I’d say fill a tub deeper than the pot with Rain Water.  
Dip the plant in the water all the way to just below the soil level \& wait for all the air bubbles to stop.  
Place it somewhere to drain.  
Mine need a bath at least 1-2 times a week.

No idea what it is though sorry 😔

From my experience bonsais take a lot of water. They are pretty thirsty plants.
