I bought a bonsai growing kit and I think I messed up really badly. I germinated the seeds in the fridge for 2 weeks and then put it in a plastic bag with a warm wet paper towel. I kept it like that until the seeds changed colour which then I sowed it in the soil the kit provided. I may have soaked the soil wrong however.

The way I got success was just soaking my bonsai seeds in water overnight and putting them right into wet coco coir the next day. It worked with 3 of the 5 types that I got in my kit
