# I just got this light meter and I tested it on this plant inside and…

I just got this light meter and I tested it on this plant inside and even in my sunroom and I can’t figure it out.  
Point directly at the grow light the numbers are high but pointing towards the plant, right under the light, the numbers are so low. I feel like this isn’t right? It’s not really even reading anything in my sunroom.  
I’m not sure if the settings are just wrong or if I have a faulty meter.

The light meter (white globe part) needs to be facing the primary light source at leaf level. Angle the meter in the same orientation that the leaf is facing 🙂
