# I’m patting myself on the back a bit for this one. I’ve never had…

I’m patting myself on the back a bit for this one. I’ve never had luck getting my plants to grow on a moss pole. The store bought ones are so tightly wound that none of my monstera or pathos plants would anchor in. Last night I ran across a burlap ribbon with my craft supplies and it gave me the idea to make my own. A couple pieces of trellis pole, some moss, thread and the ribbon and I have a custom made pole with holes large enough for easy anchoring and I have plenty of room at the bottom for a deep anchoring of the pole instead of the short post that comes with the store bought poles. It can be added to as the plant grows!

this is really thrifty and creative, i’ll have to try it with my pothos!

These are what I had on hand…I just bought a big cube of moss and stitched it all up!
