Does anyone have website, brand, or store recommendations for cheap but good soil and planting materials? I don’t have a huge budget but I want to really take care of my plants. I take in a lot of rescues and want to give them the best shot they have at thriving!

There is tons of info out there on creating your own soil depending g on what plants you have. I usually start with a generic base and then add other things in based on the plant need.

When I’m looking for something unusually google and look at a couple different sites before landing on something

Foxfarms ocean forest is my go to. I buy a huge bag of it and a big bag of orchid bark for the plants that need a chunkier soil and it last quite a while.
