# So my syngonium chiapense is showing its variegation on the back side…

So my syngonium chiapense is showing its variegation on the back side of the leaves. Not every leaf. This one was the most I’ve seen yet. It has some splashes on the front but the back has a lot. Any ideas why this happens? I looked online and couldn’t really find a good answer so here I am!
