# I met this woman at the farmers market today and I was telling her…

I met this woman at the farmers market today and I was telling her about this app and how much fun it is. We exchanged tips on plants and gardening and she told me her trick when gardening without wearing gloves. I thought it was so cool, I wanted to share it with you guys.

Before she starts working she takes a bar of soap and scratches it with her nails to create a barrier. When she's done working she just washes her hands. The soap keeps the dirt from sticking under her nails and also washes the dirt away. I can't wait to try it!

Oh! Here I am scratching the bar of soap AFTER to try to displace all the dirt 🤣 I’ll have to try it the smarter way next time haha

Fascinating. I wonder if I could successfully do my 1-2 hrs a day plant chores whilst having my fingernails embedded with stuff without it driving me bonkers. Hmmm. Worth a shot. Dubious tho. 🤔
