OK, last post for today. 🫠 Have you read about playing music to plants?

“For most plants playing classical or jazz music caused growth to increase, while harsher metal music induced stress. This may be because the vibrations of metal music are too intense for plants and stimulate cells a little too much.”

I haven't done any formal research, but after reading this article I realized that all the plants in my record room grow much larger than those in other areas of my home. It could be a coincidence but maybe not.

You could take it one step further and see if the plant prefers digital vs. analog formats! 😜

During the pandemic, a quartet played to plants at the Opera House in Barcelona. It satisfied their desire to play for an audience, and I'm sure the plants had a great time too.

Music and doing all the various plant tasks - especially potting and re-potting - is my jam. I should consider what I have on when bringing in a new plant. Baby’s first memory should be analog 😀

I may or may not play the Flower Duet from Léo Delibes’ opera “Lakme” for my plants several times a week…🙃
