# Hello all, I was wondering if I should consider sizing up my pot for…

Hello all, I was wondering if I should consider sizing up my pot for my Monstera? I got her this year, it’s been less than a year but getting pretty close to it. She has been doing pretty well, I recently got a humidifier as well. (hand for scale)

Monsteras like to be root bound, so you should be fine for a while. That moss pole is in the wrong spot tho! It’s not doing anything useful there. You want to find the back of the stem (where roots come out). It looks like it might be where that wooden stake is. Put the moss pole there and the plant will start rooting into it for extra support!

Okay awesome thank you so much! I had a friend help me put in the moss pole as I did not really know where it needed to go, so this should be helpful. :)
