# My first cutting ever. It was becoming too top heavy. Think I did it…

My first cutting ever. It was becoming too top heavy. Think I did it right? Includes the nose and I made sure not to cut through the previous growth point that remains on the mother plant.  
Also in the jug, is the water level high enough?

Included the node\* Not the nose.

As long as the water covers the node so it will grow roots, you’re fine
