# Hi y’all!! Just saved this baby from WALMART!! It was the last one…

Hi y’all!! Just saved this baby from WALMART!! It was the last one and my first monstera!! I’m so excited to watch her grow even more, but looking for any tips or tricks you experts can provide! Specifically what your thoughts are on those brown leaves. My initial thought is to cut them? Thanks in advance!

Cut them so all the energy goes to the healthy leaves and making new ones

You really did save that plant from Walmart. Their plant care skills are a little subpar, lol.

Hahah subpar is an understatement! You should have seen the amount of water she was sitting in!!

I can only imagine. I used to work at Walmart, and I think they’re trained to water the plants almost daily. 🤦🏻‍♀️
