# Hi everyone! Still kinda new to monsteras so have a quick question…

Hi everyone! Still kinda new to monsteras so have a quick question about my Peru! Got about a month ago, was root bound so repotted. Noticed a few days ago some yellowing. Soil very wet, thinking not enough drainage and soil too dense so removed today, repoted into a clear nursery pot with a very chunky mix, then into the other pot I added more holes to...it is very dry so wondering when do I water? I did remove some brown roots but it still has healthy ones). Do i wait a couple days or more?? Water now to help it along in it's new life? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance ☺️

I water anytime I repot to allow the soil and plant to start acclimating together.
