Recently got a Thai constellation monstera, I’ve never had one of these plants before but I’ve heard they can be a bit dramatic if not absolutely happy, any advice would be very welcome and gratefully appreciated ! 💚

Not sure about dramatic. But I care for mine same as my other monsteras. Just repotted Tye yesterday.
He gets morning sun 3-6 hours a day. Usually 3. I water about a week and half. I check soil when planta tells me to water. Repot when necessary. Fertilizer I do once a month. Also, I have it in indoor potting mix, extra pertile and orchid bark. I also mix pellet fertilizer in the soil for extra food

He looks beautiful, can I ask how often you need to repot him ? I know they can get quite big

Repot when the root ball is big. They can be coming out the bottom. I check them every so many months. Like every 3. Sometimes sooner if it shows signs. I changed my big one like every month. Now it’s outside because I don’t have room for it inside anymore.

Thank you so much 💚 I’ll keep all this in mind

I potted mine in a transparent orchid pot so I could keep an eye on the root system, as they’re prone to root rot. Pot in a chunky mix. I make up my own with equal parts potting soil, perlite and orchid mix with a scattering of worm castings for good measure. Fertilise every other water and you should be good to go 💪🏼
