just bought my first monstera thai constellation! super stoked ! been trying to get my hands on it for a while, any tips on how to grow this beauty , lighting tips , how to get fenestrations or more variegation? ECT #plantdad :)

Chunky soil and bright indirect light! Just a heads up, these guys grow SUPER slowly

thank you ! ah man i didn’t know these grow slowly ;( lol but thanks for the heads up. do you know a good chunky soil to make or what to use ? i am new to the plant journey and only use the basic normal miracle grow soil. so i’m not to experienced in making my own soil .

No problem! An easy one would be 1/3 soil, 1/3 perlite, and 1/3 orchid bark (I get all three from Walmart)

If you want to get more fancy, you could add in other materials like pumice, coco chips, and horticultural charcoal :)

Tell us your secrets! Lol my green Monstera grows so fast, but the Thai Constellation grows sooo slowly

Chunky soil and it’s under a grow light. My plant room stays around 55% humidity during the summer and 50% during the winter. I also fertilize with every watering.
