# Can someone tell me why these leaves are so weak and wobbly along…

Can someone tell me why these leaves are so weak and wobbly along with their stems? They aren’t new leaves. I’ve had the plant for quite a while but just recently decided I was going to be a good plant mom and give them better care! The rest of the leaves look good and strong but I want to avoid creating more of these sad ones.

Maybe a watering issue?

Definitely possible that it was the case when it was a new leaf.

Have the leaves it’s put out since been ok or are they wonky too?

The new ones seem to be OK

Since the new growth has been ok, the quirky leaves are probably from something that was happening at the time when they were coming out, either overwatering, sudden big changes in humidity, or change in light. Your soil looks chunky and it looks like it’s near a window, so I’d say you’re setting yourself up really well for success. Just don’t water too frequently, let it dry out a bit between waterings :)
