# Hello! Long time plant owner, first time monstera owner. I've had the…

Hello! Long time plant owner, first time monstera owner. I've had the plant for ~ 2 weeks and have not reported yet. I had a leaf go yellow on me - it looks like it rotted! I was able to take out the offending stem easily. The plant has plenty of drainage and soil is dry between baths. Everything else seems to be doing well - we even have a new leaf! Any tips? Should I be worried about this spreading to other, healthy stems? Thank you for any help! 💚

That one is for sure rotting, id repot and take away any rotted part and spray with hydrogen peroxide
