# Only recently found out that monstera leaves are supposed to face one…

Only recently found out that monstera leaves are supposed to face one direction 😅  
Is there any way I can get it to “reset” and face one way? It’s a little hard for me to find where to put the support now because the leaves are facing in different directions but it clearly needs a bigger pole than what I have right now…

You have 2 or more monsteras growing in there, so technically over time both plants adjusted to both sides… you could separate them by the roots to have 2 plants \& repot them with moss poles! That way the aerial roots (AKA the back of the plant) can get nutrients and your leaves will all grow to the left and right in the direction of the sun!

Pick a side where they’re all mostly facing. Place that side towards the light. You can velcro some of the non facing ones towards the light, but as long as you don’t rotate it, eventually they’ll all turn towards the light
