# What can I do for my monstera? In the past month I have had 2 leaves…

What can I do for my monstera?  
In the past month I have had 2 leaves become rubbery, weak or “squishier” on stems. Browning on the leaf and doesn’t look well. The rest of the leaves seem fine tho. Any tips? I water when the first 2 inches of soil seems dry, and it gets a good amount of indirect light.

I would check the roots for rot just in case and cut off any damaged bits. My monstera does best with lots of perlite or bark in the soil.

I will do that thank you. This is its first repotting, so I’ll look into some good soil for the next here soon.
