# I want to know if I overpaid on my new plants. I got 2 monstera mints…

I want to know if I overpaid on my new plants. I got 2 monstera mints and 1 white monster monstera. Each were $100 and they are in 4” pots. I live in Utah and got these shipped to me from a local plant shop in Texas. I know prices differ depending on where you live but I can’t get any of those locally without paying $400-$800 per plant or 3 leaf cutting. How much is a plant this size going in your area or what apps do you use to get plants at a great price?

I don’t know anything about these specific ones but my Thai constellation was $50 in a 6 inch self watering pot.

I paid $70 for a white monster and $40 for a burle max flame. But mine are itty bitty so I’d say that’s average

On FB marketplace in my area in the PNW. They should run about $100 or just a little under as well in my location. $100 is a fair deal I’d say.

It’s looks you got a fairly good deal on those. Congrats! I’ve been searching for a Mint, but a bigger size, but they’re so expensive 😭. I’ll just wait until the Mint because more widely available, making the price go down. It happened to the Thai constellation so it’ll eventually happen to the mint.
