What does it mean when my monstera adansonii’s lead tips are curling down? I can’t put up a picture now Srry

Could be a couple different things, but I think these are the most likely one of these:  
• it’s under-watered  
• The roots are unable to take in water. This could be caused by damaged or rotting roots  
• The soil is too dense and staying too moist, which is preventing the roots from being able to breathe. Roots need to breathe, especially Monstera roots
