Please help! A big piece of my huge monstera easily just broke off the root and I’m scared she’s gonna die if I don’t repot her properly. Should I put her in water to help the root system come back because she has no roots or should I immediately put her in soil?

Hi there! You should definitely put the roots in water with plant food additive, treat it as if it was a propagation until you see the roots grow. You may lose some of the lower more mature leaves but that is totally normal from the shock. Luckily it looks like there’s healthy aerial roots so it can still receive nutrients!

Can you take a close up picture of the base of the plant?

Oh man. What a bummer! I would likely put it in water, too.
