# Hell yall quick question. My monsters has been kind of struggling,…

Hell yall quick question. My monsters has been kind of struggling, however she’s growing a pretty healthy new aerial root BUT there’s no new growth points in sight. Any ideas why or what I should do to enlarge more growth

You could cut off some of the smaller leaves, when I did that to mine, it grew 3 new leaves pretty quickly and they’re all closer to the size of the largest leaf. This allows the plant to focus more on new growth.

How much on the stem do you suggest I cut off? Or just the actual leaf ?

I cut off the whole stem down to where it connects to other leaves

It’ll grow new leaves as long as you leave the node

Quick update! I have some broth coming thru. I trimmed some leaves and put an aerial root in some water with fertilizer and I have 2 new leaves coming in!
