# Plant newbie here! I have a monstera, and my office is in a south…

Plant newbie here! I have a monstera, and my office is in a south facing window. Where should I place this? I keep getting mixed feedback on chat GPT lol.

Currently I have it 5 ft from the window.

I am in the process of moving things around in my office ( please excuse the mess)

Keep it somewhat close to the window but if the plant can directly see the plant then move it a bit further. Only let it get up to 40 min of full sun a day to be safe

Since it’s south facing I would recommend putting up a sheer curtain and put her right next to the window. She’ll love it. 🥰
