# I tried to propagate these couple leaves from my monstera (not sure…

I tried to propagate these couple leaves from my monstera (not sure which variation of monstera it is). I cut them off about 1.5-2 weeks ago, and it doesn’t seem like anything is growing. Did i do something wrong or should i give them more time? (the one aerial root was already that long it has not grown)

Light will help. So does root powder.

Change out the water every so often

It seems to take forever. I do feel that putting some pothos cuttings in with it helps it root faster.

Change out the water and put pothos in there for rooting hormone, BUT don’t do a full water change when you change the water so all of the rooting hormone isn’t lost.

Root powder would do the same as the pothos.
