Hey guys! I got my very first monstera today! A baby monstera in fact… it looks pretty healthy but I was just wondering if anyone knows what’s caused this dark wound on one of the leaves?

It was fine when I unpacked it (it was delivered) but I checked on it 2 hours later and it had this? Is it due to the change in environment or something else? Any advice welcome :)) I don’t know any issues raising her, she’s my most precious plant as I’ve wanted one for months🥺🌱

Nothing to worry about! Could have been a physical bump, could have been irregular watering while it developed

here’s a look at my newest leaves. I didn’t start quite as small as yours, about 1.5 feet tall — but I only had one leaf with fenestrations - and only 3! It’s fun to watch them develop!

I can’t wait to see the first signs of it🥺🥺 I was gunna buy a full grown one but I enjoy watching plants change week by week ahah thank you!!
