# Got this monstera on Facebook for free. The condition was the first…

Got this monstera on Facebook for free. The condition was the first photo. I made a pot for it out of a 5 gallon waste basket, fixed her up(as seen in last photo). I know she’s going to be sad because of all the changes made (home,soil, pot, sunlight maybe), do you think she’ll thrive? Did i do the right thing with her? What’s a good name?

As long as they new pot has drainage. Maybe when she puts on a few more good healthy leaves chop and prop the top and start her over.
