Back up the picture. Does it have any leaves??

Nope. It had severe root rot so I chopped everything. All the leaves were dead so I cut them as well. Maybe I was too vigorous in chopping. The little nub is about 2 inches.

It’s the sunlight on the leaves that makes a plant grow. No leaves…dead plant, sorry!
