# Today I finally brought home a monstera!! Does this window location…

Today I finally brought home a monstera!! Does this window location look alright? It receives bright indirect light most of the day followed by a little direct sun in the evening. I’m very much a newbie plant parent, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

This looks fantastic to me! I'd grab a wet paper towel and wipe down the adult leaves so they can better absorb sunlight and I always make sure to try to keep my windows wiped down frequently so the sunlight isn't too heavily filtered. As a new plant parent I tended to overwater, so when in doubt wait a couple days! Monsteras will do a lot better if youre unsure waiting a few days more for water than they will overwatered. But congrats and welcome to the community! 😊🫶🏻
