# Seriously considering repotting my new Thai Constellation now. I…

_Posted by Gaia 🌍 on 2024-04-14_

Seriously considering repotting my new Thai Constellation now. I believe I’m possibly getting an aerial root here? This is the only pot size I have right now. Would you say it’s ok or should I downsize a little? I believe it will be happier with some more suitable potting mix for it too. Would you say it’s too early to add some support for it? And if so, what support type would you suggest? Sorry for all the questions but would love some advice from experienced monstera parents please 🙏🏻🪴 I’m determined to do my best as I failed my last monstera a few years ago.

Aerial root comes out the stem of plant. I would repot it. In my opinion that pot should be fine for it for a while. It looks to be a root coming out. You can add support when repotting. It is easier. I have a moss pole for mine but others may have a better suggestion.

Thank you! 🙏🏻

Aerial root is what is coming out behind the leaf in top and the second.
This is my albo monstera. I can take a close up if you need.
