Few questions:
\- Did you switch/add fertilizer recently? increase amount used? (Could be fertilizer burn/ammonia toxicity)
\- Is this where it usually sits? (lighting is really what I’m asking here)
\- Repot recently? (Could be shock if roots were messed with)
\- Drainage amendments in the soil? (Could be holding too much water. Check for root rot)
\- How often do you water? Scheduled or off of soil feel? (Same possibility as above)

It’s been sitting in the floor so I’ve just sat it on the chair to try to give it some more light cause I thought that may be it, I’ve never used fertilizer really. She’s been in the same pot for about a year I did chop it about a month ago but it had good drainage and I water it about once every 2 weeks. Thank you for your help!💚

Okay yay, that rules a lot out!

One year is around the right time to check the roots to see if you need to repot. Which, paired with not using fertilizer actually sounds about right. Usually bagged soil has some type of fertilizer or nutrients in it but it has a “shelf life” (if that makes sense. I’m not the best at explaining things). So it’s possible that it’s a nutrients deficiency paired with needing a repot?

No I totally understand thank you! I’ll take it out and see what it looks like! Do you have any fertilizer suggestions?

The last few months Ive been using GT Foliage Focus (it’s a popular one). I’ve also heard great things about Alaska fish fert. Aside from it smelling like hell. Also, I didn’t mention this before since your plant looks quite clean but just in case: check for any pests too. Underside of leaves for bugs, webbing or any stippled yellow spots. Especially if you’ve brought any plants home recently, though hitchhikers sometimes come in on our clothes or pets.

Yelling? What was it saying?
