You have your moss pole in the right place; along the spine! 👍🏼  
There’s a variety of support poles and ties… whatever works for you. I use a moss pole like yours, and have plant ties. I also have a snow stick in one!!! That’s what I had around.  
Maybe push it in a bit more.  
But you’re doing great!

Yes, or cut and propagate if you’d like. Don’t be afraid to cut and propagate. Just cut below a node.  
That pole looks like it’ll last a bit; I know some have an extension option.

And when you do secure it to the pole, don't secure the petiole, secure at the base or stem. They like to move. 😁
