# Good morning good afternoon good evening plant fam, Just a question…

_Posted by Springvision on 2025-10-10_

Good morning good afternoon good evening plant fam,
Just a question please. I was just going to repot this Monstera and I was wondering should I wait until the new leaf has opened and hardened off? Or is it OK to repot it now? TIA.

I think it would be best to wait.

Yes go ahead and let this new leaf harden off before you repot! This will allow the plant to be secure so when you shuffle it around when repotting, the soft new leaf won’t be damaged in the process.
