Fenestration Station!!

This is my first and only monstera child, well technically they’re step brothers that make up one potted plant. Started him from two different single-leaf propagations gifted from friends about a year ago.

He’s been growing steadily but only in the last few months did I start seeing fenestrations - so exciting! So far 3 leaves have got them, 1st one was just 4 fenestrations, next was 5, and a third one just revealed himself after some trauma last week.

During repot day we had a wrestling match as I tried to get the two set perfectly opposite one another with spines aligned against the pole. I won in the end but, the new leaf that hadn’t unfurled yet took some bruises. I was worried I might lose it between the beating and repot shock. BUT this baby emerged with EIGHT fenestrations!!!

Feeling proud 🥹 (of him, not me lol)
