Hi, can anyone tell me what’s going on with my Monstera. It looked like it was sprouting a new leaf but it came out like this. No leaf just a stem. I’ve never had this before.

did it perhaps snap off before coming off the plant?

I don’t think so. I noticed the new growth, then the next day there was this. I’m wondering if it’s snapped off inside, if that makes sense. It’s in an area with no traffic, partial sun.

It could have something to do with the roots. If not to do with the roots then maybe it’s the size of your pot.
