# Just thought you all might like to meet my beefcake monstera! She’s…

Just thought you all might like to meet my beefcake monstera! She’s only about 10 months old, planted a cutting from my brother-in-law last February! Her biggest leaf is 2 feet wide! She’s doing great though pretty dormant right now with the winter. I don’t want to put any stress on it but trying to figure out how to coax it to grow more upright. Its main stem is very thick and pretty much immovable at this point. Any suggestions out there for getting it to grow more upright? I don’t want to force the thick stem too much with moss poles / trellises.

i’m obsessed to say the least, she’s gorgeous!! maybe try some bamboo poles for climbing? or a thin 2x4 piece of wood in or behind the pot.. idk just sounds good in theory lol

WTHello! I'm actually speechless 🤯. Your plant is downright Magnificent!! I have no idea how to help, but how are you getting her to grow this much in 10months?

Thank you! Honestly it might just be a fluke haha. She just really likes our corner window which is southeast facing. We’re in Seattle so we don’t run into super harsh direct light too often. Regular potting soil!
