# My monstera plants are definitely my favorite. I started collecting…

My monstera plants are definitely my favorite. I started collecting them in august and they are really growing rapidly.

I have a probably stupid question. I had assumed that when people were showing off their gigantic monsteras that they had them for a long time and that successive leaves come in larger and larger. Do the leaves actually just keep growing? I feel like my two largest are just getting bigger and bigger, and really quickly. They love the grow light. I want them to be full and happy but OMG what am I going find when they get huge????

This picture is of my Thai constellation, deliciosa and mint that are in my bedroom.

after a leaf unfurls, it does grow for a few weeks until it fully hardens and matures. after that, it won't continue growing and the plant will direct its energy into making a new, even bigger leaf and then the hardening process starts all over again. hope this helps!
