# Hello! New plant mom here and I’ve been propagating this monsterra…

Hello! New plant mom here and I’ve been propagating this monsterra plant! The roots are only growing on one side though, should I keep together when I pot or split it up and continue propagating the side with no roots? TIA!

Ypu can just plant it like that. Unless you're wanting two separate plants. The one side will support the whole thing

The roots will only come from that one node/aerial root since only of them has it. So if you cut it only the side with the roots will make it. Best to keep it as it \& pot it whenever!
