# My Thai con just made a new leaf that is much lighter and yellower…

My Thai con just made a new leaf that is much lighter and yellower than the rest, I am wondering if this is normal for new leaves (it finished unfolding today) or its nutrient deficient.

Baby leaves come out like that! It takes some time for it to mature and darken, but it'll turn into the same shad of green like your other lovely leaves!

This is normal for new Thai leafs when they open they get darker as they mature here is my Thai cons new leaf (it opened a while ago so it’s darker but yeah )
