I’ve had my monstera for two years and only had two leaves grow in that entire period. I recently repotted and it grew a huge new leaf in the last 2 weeks and I’ve been flipping out 🥰 #### Lizzi replied on 2025-08-20 Omg I think I would cry if I didn’t get a new leaf for that long ! I was already getting sad that I didn’t see a new leaf within that little time I had it . I did have a new leaf coming out though when I first bought it so wasn’t to sad lol ### Lizzi commented on 2025-08-21 UPDATE : She def grew some more can’t wait for to open up 😍🤏🏽😂🥹 ![Attachment 1 of 1](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/0kka_IrI7IicuN4ADZm6oLswxOrpFavuGX92sOfqwkk/IBFraok7TpqYRJlSVWvahw.webp?size=large) --- _Source: the Planta community (https://getplanta.com).
