# The before and after (last picture the before) of my lovely monstera.…

_Posted by Corrin on 2024-07-24_

The before and after (last picture the before) of my lovely monstera. It seems so droopy and meh. I’m usually really good with plants but my monstera just does not seem too happy. I want her back looking tall and fresh like when I first got her. Any help and advice would be hugely appreciated 🌿💚

A moss pole is a life saver. Teaches your plant to grow up not out!

Is that where it lives? If so, it looks pretty far from a window from the lighting in your photos. They like bright indirect light, so moving it to a brighter place directly next to a window might help!

Or consider a grow light if you really like where it is! They’re inexpensive on amazon!

^ agree with these comments!! A pole and some velcro ties are life savers when trying to get your monstera to grow upwards! Also might want some more sun - I keep mine by a window :)

Definitely more light. Also, the pot looks too large for it, assuming it’s plastic (which it looks like)? I would worry about over watering.
